The whole trip was really well organized, and I never felt confused about where to be or what was happening next. Everything was laid out clearly, which made the experience feel easy and stress-free. There weren’t any of those annoying, totally preventable mix-ups that can happen when plans aren’t thought through

I was surprised by how many destinations Contiki has, especially around Europe. There were even a few places I wouldn’t have thought to check at first, which was nice. It made comparing different trips simple, though some countries definitely had fewer options than others. Like, why so many choices in one place and barely any in another?? Still, overall the coverage was really good, and I ended up finding a trip that matched what I was looking for.

I started to notice a pattern during the stay: some of the hotels were clean and comfortable enough, while others felt a little cramped and dated. Nothing was terrible, but the room quality definitely varied from place to place...

So... I was surprised by how comfortable the buses were. There was plenty of space in the seats, and I even managed to sleep during a couple of the longer drives. It made getting around feel so much easier.

Our guide was really easy to talk to and knew a bunch of cool local spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. It made the day feel more relaxed and personal. Nothing too over-the-top, just a solid experience with someone who clearly knew the area well

Overall, I had an okay time on the trip and there were definitely parts I enjoyed. The tour manager was kind of inconsistent though. Some days they were helpful and fun, and other days it felt like we had to chase down basic info or figure things out ourselves. When plans changed, updates sometimes came late or felt rushed, which made the whole thing more stressful than it needed to be. It wasn’t a bad tour, but I didn’t love how much effort it took just to stay on top of what was going on.

I’m really glad I decided to do the optional excursions. Each one added something special to the trip, and I’m grateful for the extra memories I got to make along the way...

I had to get in touch with Contiki customer service to change something on my booking, i got a bit impatient waiting around. They did reply, but it took a few days, and I ended up having to chase them with a follow-up message.

The person who eventually helped me was friendly and did get everything sorted, so I can’t really complain about the final outcome. Still, the first bit of info I got wasn’t super clear, which made the whole thing feel more drawn out than it needed to be.

Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it definitely wasn’t great either. I’d probably use Contiki again, but I’d really hope their support is quicker next time because waiting that long is frustrating.

I booked my trip through Contiki and it was simple overall. The site loaded fine, everything was quick enough, and my payment went through without any drama. I do wish the extra costs had been a little more obvious before checkout though. Still, not a bad experience at All

I haven’t actually traveled yet, but uh, the communication from Contiki before the trip has been really good so far. The emails have been clear, and I’ve been getting reminders about what to upload, payments, and what’s coming next.
